PESHAWAR: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said the Taliban were serious about peace talks.
The spokesman said the TTP had contacted Taliban factions on the issue of a ceasefire and a decision would be made soon.
Shahidullah Shahid added the decision endorsed by the Ameer of the Tehreek is obligatory to pursue for all groups. The spokesman further said they would not not face any difficulty with the Taliban factions on any decision.
according to the TTP spokesman, Mohmand Agency Taliban would have to explain their actions during a shura meeting.
The spokesman further said there had been a sudden a sudden increase in the dumping of their companions' bodies and it was necessary for this to stop if the talks were to be successful.
