Musharraf' counsel barred from defending his client

ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf's counsel Rana Ijaz advocate was stopped by the security personnel from entering into the special court hearing the high treason case on Wednesday here, Geo News reported.

Talking to media outside the special court here, Rana Ijaz said that he has been told to tender apology for his attitude and on refusal his entry into the court has been banned.

He said he was the lawyer of Musharraf and he was being prevented from defending his client.

Rana Ijaz was yesterday asked by the special court Justice Faisal Arab to get out of the courtroom, following his misdemeanor during the hearing.
